Johri Farm is a new settlement in Jamia Nagar, New Delhi, India, in the district of South East Delhi. It consists of eight lanes(roads) and many sub-lanes (Sub-roads). Over 60% of the area of Johri Farm is covered with 4-story apartments. The area consists of three mosques and a temple. Asif Mohammad Khan was the local M.L.A (from RJD party, he is the brother of former union minister Arif Mohammad Khan) and Sandeep Dixit (from Congress party. He is the son of Delhi's CM Sheila Dixit) and was the member of the parliament from the area. Some of the iconic figures living in Johri Farm are 1.Zeyaul Haque (Renowned Journalist) 2.Mohammad Waqas (Deputy Associate Editor, India Today) 3.Yaseen Anwer (Founder & Managing Editor Poets Corner) 4.Firoz Ghayas (Ex-national level Cricketer), and many more. == History == Jamia Nagar is one of the Delhi's many religious-ethnic enclaves, much like Chittaranjan Park (Bengalis) and Tilak Nagar(Sikhs), where Delhi shows its class and religious divides. Jamia Nagar is located on the coasts of Yamuna river which divides Delhi with Uttar Pradesh. Johri Farm is very close to the pristine campus of Jamia Millia University with its parks and ponds, trees and benches, ducks and koyals.
